Frankie never presses anything that pays, buys, orders, transfers or sends money. Those buttons are always yours.

Passwords stay private

What you type into password, card and code boxes is never read and never filled in by Frankie.

1. Add him to Chrome

From the Chrome Web Store, in one click. A family member can do it for you in a moment.

2. Sign in

With your email and password, or with your phone: point the camera at the square on the screen and press Yes.

3. Pin his face

Click the puzzle piece at the top right of Chrome, then the pin beside FrankieGPT. He is one click away from then on.

About Frankie for Chrome

Is it the same Frankie as on my phone?
Yes. It is the same account, the same memory, the same saved people and the same conversation. Start talking on your phone in the kitchen, sit down at the computer, and Frankie carries on where you left off.
Can Frankie see everything I do on the computer?
No. Frankie looks at a page only after you have said he may, and only while you are talking to him. The bar under the message box always says which page he can see, and its switch turns it off. Nothing he reads is kept.
Will Frankie ever buy something or move money?
Never. He can show you the right button, fill in your name and address when you ask, and press Next or Close for you once you say OK. Anything that pays, buys, orders, transfers or sends money is always yours to press.
What about passwords and card numbers?
Frankie never reads what you type into a password, card number or security code box, and he never fills those in. They stay on your computer.
How do I sign in?
With your FrankieGPT email and password, or without typing anything at all: choose Sign in with your phone, point your phone camera at the square on the screen, and press Yes on your phone.
Can I talk to him out loud on the computer?
Yes. Press Call Frankie and talk, exactly as you do on the phone. Chrome asks once whether Frankie may use the microphone, and from then on he is ready whenever you are. Typing works too.
Which languages does he speak?
Sixteen: English, Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian, Chinese, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Korean, French, German, Polish, Italian, Portuguese, Hungarian, Armenian and Arabic. He answers in whichever one you use.
Which computers does it work on?
Any computer with Google Chrome: Windows, Mac, Chromebook and Linux.
I use Safari, Firefox or Edge. Can I still have Frankie on the computer?
Yes. Open app.frankiegpt.com in any browser and sign in, and you have the same Frankie and the same conversation. Reading the page beside you, the ring around the right button and filling in forms need Google Chrome, because they live in the Chrome side panel.
Can I add it on my phone?
Chrome extensions only run on computers. On a phone, get the free FrankieGPT app for iPhone or Android instead. It is the same Frankie, and your conversation carries on when you sit down at the computer.
Do I need a FrankieGPT account first?
You sign in with a FrankieGPT account, and you can create one free in a few minutes. If you already use Frankie on your phone, you already have everything you need.
