About the apps

Is the app free?
Yes. The apps cost nothing to download, Frankie for Chrome is free to add, and the account is free to start with no card asked for.
Is there a version for the computer?
Yes. FrankieGPT for Google Chrome puts Frankie in the side of your browser on Windows, Mac, Chromebook and Linux. He can read the page you are on, show you where to click, fill in forms with your OK, and warn you about scams. Any other modern browser works too, at app.frankiegpt.com.
Do I need the app, or can I keep using the browser?
Both work, and it is the same account either way. The app is the easiest way to keep Frankie one tap away on a phone. On a computer, Frankie for Chrome keeps him beside every website, and any browser works as well.
Will my conversation follow me from the phone to the computer?
Yes. Start talking on your phone, sit down at the computer, and Frankie carries on where you left off. Calls, typing and pictures are one conversation on every device.
Can I sign in on the computer without typing a password?
Yes. Choose Sign in with your phone, point your phone camera at the square on the computer screen, and press Yes on your phone.
Can somebody else set it up for me?
Yes, and that is common. Someone creates the account, adds the people who matter, installs the app on your phone and Frankie in your Chrome, and signs you in once. After that it opens like any other app.
Which phones does it work on?
iPhones from the App Store and Android phones from Google Play, on a current version of the phone software. Tablets work too, and so does any modern browser.
