Libraries and community centers

The queue at the desk is usually the same handful of problems: a form, a letter, a login, a scam text. On the public computers, Frankie in Chrome walks people through the page in front of them.

Congregations and neighborhood groups already do this work informally. This gives the volunteers something to hand over.

How it works for a group

The practical arrangement

Who sets it up	Your team, or the person with a little help. The sign up asks who the account is for, one question at a time, and Frankie remembers who helped.
Who owns the account	The individual. Their conversations, saved people, and files are theirs, and they can delete the whole account from Settings. This matters for trust, and trust is what decides whether a tool actually gets used.
What has to be installed	The free app from the App Store or Google Play, FrankieGPT for Chrome on your computers, or nothing at all: Frankie also runs in any browser. No device management, no update cycle to manage.
What training is needed	Show someone the green button once. The whole interface is ordinary speech, in any of sixteen languages, and Frankie opens any screen when asked. There is no menu structure to teach and no wake word to remember.
What about people who share a room	Privacy Mode is on from the first day, so health, money and family matters stay private when others are around. Voice lock can also tie spoken instructions to one person’s voice.
What we will not do	We do not sell anyone’s information, we do not advertise, and we do not build profiles. See the privacy notice, which is written in plain language on purpose.

How does setting Frankie up for a group work?

Each person gets their own account, because the memory and the saved contacts are personal and should not be shared. Someone on your team can create the accounts and hand them over, and Frankie remembers who helped. Tell us at frankiegpt.com/contact roughly how many people, and we will help you get everyone started.

Do our members need to install anything?

Only if they want to. There is a free FrankieGPT app for iPhone and Android, FrankieGPT for Chrome for the computers you already have, and any modern browser works too. On a shared computer, Sign in with your phone means nobody types a password on a public machine.

What about people who have never used a smartphone well?

One screen, one button, and they talk in their own words. Text size, contrast, and reading controls are on every page. In practice this is the part organizations tell us matters most, because it is the difference between a tool that gets handed out and a tool that gets used.

What happens to a person's conversations if they leave?

The account belongs to the person. They can delete it from Settings, which removes conversations, mail, reminders, saved people, files, and any voice print. Nothing is retained for us to sell, because we do not sell any of it.
